Our design team is seamlessly involved and constantly collaborates with our construction team. During the construction process our project managers, job site superintendents, estimators and purchasing agents use the latest tools to make sure that every job is completed on time and within budget. CONTACTHistory/BIOIn 2002, Pedro G. Ayala founded PGA Studio, Inc., which is an architecture planning and design build firm now operating in the lower Rio Grande Valley of South Texas. As President and CEO of PGA Studio, Inc., Pedro initially established PGA Studio in Houston, postgraduate, upon receiving his Master of Architecture from The University of Houston -Gerald D. Hines College of Architecture and after planning and implementing projects for award-winning architecture firms such as GENSLER Design Worldwide and 3D International. Pedro received his Bachelor of Environmental Design degree (1994), from Texas A&M University and enhanced his learning in Europe while studying "Place Making"in Castiglion Fiorentino, Italy which is formed by the historically significant and architecturally rich landscape cities of Florence, Venice, and Rome.During his tenure at GENSLER Design Worldwide, 3D International and prior to launching PGA Studio, Inc., high profile projects Pedro worked upon which are comprised in his curriculum vitae, include: Master planning the Utah State Capitol Historic Preservation and Seismic Upgrade project with 3DI -Salt Lake City, Utah; Goldman & Sachs Office Expansion -Memphis, Tennessee; Gurnee Mills Concept Shopping Competition -Chicago, Illinois; 1000 Main Mid-rise Mixed Use Downtown Office Tower -Houston, TX; and Belmont Assisted Living -Nashville, Tennessee. Pedro's design experience can be categorized as progressive, innovative and precise, encompassing a well-rounded range which varies from premium-grade millwork detailing at JOHNS & HAUSMANN Design Company for University libraries, corporate offices, and museums, to designing schools, automotive dealerships and sanctuaries for Kenneth M. Graves, AIA, Architect.In all aspects, Pedro combines his professional practice with personal and professional community involvement as both are an integral part of the core values of PGA Studio. Pedro has contributed to and invested in promoting the McAllen's Heart of the City Improvement Corporation, served on committees of the American Institute of Architects as well as served as a board member for local nonprofits such as National Hispanic Entrepreneurs for Leadership in Politics. He has been a consultant and Board member of Hunt Valley's Architectural Review Committee for Sharyland Plantation's 6,000 acre Master Planned Community since March of 2007. He has also influenced a younger generation of upcoming architects by volunteering and teaching architecture at the High School, University and Local Community College levels.Locally, Pedro has been involved as the principal project manager for Dallas based ATI Enterprises Inc.. PGA Studio was the Design/Builder for their South Texas Vo-Tech Institute Campus Wide Expansion effort in the Lower Rio Grande Valley. Pedro's latest designs include: Exotic Tropical Pet World, Earl Scott Center & Fieldhouse for the Donna Independent School District; Jackson Triangle Shopping Center with Ed Alvarado, AIA; Weslaco and Brownsville South Texas Vo-Tech Institute expansion campuses; Five-story Upland Center Mixed Use Office Commercial building; and Villa Escondida, a 32-unit high-end townhome gated development in Weslaco.Pedro G.
